Union Street Art

The street art of Merri Common has been featured here before. Merri Common can be accessed via Union St which is also home to beautiful street art and in particular these resident created mosaics.  Firstly (and my favorite) a possum.street art mosaic of possum

There are many more to see and at Christmas time this Street has the most amusing decorations ever. One house  has BAH HUMBUG in huge flashing letters which makes me smile . I leave you with this “critter” .critter mosaic union st Northcote

  3. Yes, they are all wonderful but the possum steals the show!!!! People are coming for walks, drives and rides to look at these mosaics. It is such a creative little nook of the world. πŸ™‚


  4. such lovely work …mosaics do take a lot of effort. All of them are lovely, but my fav would be the lady bug and cactus πŸ™‚

  6. That’s wonderful, I like artworks like this very much. One of our neighbors has a mosaic pond for his Koi’s, it looks so wonderful and we watch it every morning :o)
