amigurumi your own Bacon.

Ever since I saw Arnold the pig on the old TV show, Green Acres, I wanted a pet pig of my very own. It doesn’t look like that is going to happen, so instead I enjoy vicarious pet pig interaction with an online oinker BACON the adorable, clever and very sweet little pig. I have devised a free crochet amigurumi pattern for you which you will find here! You might also like to crochet your Bacon a friend.a friend for Bacon

  1. The moment I read “bacon”, I swooned.
These little buddies would make good friends.

  2. Interesting question Deb. The short answer is after much research and debate I decided to go with Yarn Council because of their effort to standardise knitting and crochet terms. Therefore the sc is an Australian dc.

My son likes them and and always has positive and enthusiastic suggestions for the amigurumis. πŸ™‚ Goodness there was a lot of initial “behind the scenes” on line administration work to get these piggies flying! I know I said “thanks for your assistance” already but thanks again. πŸ™‚
